In line with their dedication to producing clean beauty products, Ilia have released two new eyeliners, a gel liner and a liquid liner, both free of carbon black.
The use of carbon black is widespread in the cosmetic industry, specifically in eyeliner and mascara formulas. The powder pigment is widely used in eyeliner and mascara formulas to provide depth of colour and a fullness in mascara, however it has been reported that carbon black is a potential carcinogenic, therefore making it a potentially harmful ingredient.
Staying true to their brand ethos, Ilia has cleanly formulated their new eyeliner ranges without carbon, using a blend of naturally sourced and organic ingredients that care for delicate skin and are safe to use.
Ilia's first ever liquid liner is even better than we could have imagined. The flexible, finely pointed felt tip allows for precision application, so whether its a barely there tight line or a bold cat eye you're after, this clean liquid liner is the perfect addition to any makeup bag. The quick dry formula also ensures that your eyeliner stays from day to night without any smudging or feathering.
Replacing the previous line of gel liners, the new Clean Line Gel Liners have a soft gel tip eyeliner that glides effortlessly and allows for easy smudging before setting. Available in two shades (Twilight - black / Dusk - brown), the new gel eyeliners provide strong colour pay off in a gel formula but with the ease of a pencil. The waterproof formula ensures long lasting results without wear.
